Are brow lamination and lash lifts safe? Why a patch test matters
An honest look at brow lamination and lash lift risks: what they depend on (products, timing, hair condition, patch tests) and who should check with us first.
Brows and Lashes
For eyes that shine: brow lamination, lash lift, brow shaping and brow vitamin care, using your own brows and lashes.

At Parla Deniz Aesthetic, our beauty salon in Nişantaşı, brow and lash services are personalised care that works with your own brows and lashes: brow lamination, lash lift, brow shaping and brow vitamin care. Your brows look neater and more defined, and your lashes curl upwards from the root. We aim for a groomed, natural look that suits your face.
They are for anyone who would like to spend less time on brows and lashes in the morning, prefers to keep make-up light, or wants to feel ready before a special occasion. Each session is calm and unhurried, and we talk with you as we go. Think of it as a short break you set aside for yourself.
Every session begins with a short chat. Together we look at the condition of your brows and lashes, what you would like, and any services you have had before.
Brow lamination
Lash lift
Your eyes stay closed throughout. If anything feels uncomfortable, just tell us straight away.
Brow shaping is a shorter service, planned around your features and the natural line of your brows.
We plan and carry out every brow and lash service to a personalised protocol. So the times below are general ranges and may differ for you, depending on your brows and lashes and what you would like.
We put together the plan that suits you at your first visit.
Patch test: If you have sensitive skin or a known allergy, please let us know before your appointment; we may recommend a patch test first.
Our lash lift preparation and aftercare guide takes you through the first few days after a lash lift, step by step.
If you are staying in Istanbul for a short time, send us a message before you come. Tell us which service you have in mind and your dates, and we will suggest what fits your stay. If a patch test is recommended, getting in touch early gives us time to plan around it. You are welcome to message us in English.
If any of the following applies to you, please message us before booking. We will talk through together whether the service is right for you and, if needed, suggest waiting. If you are unsure, we recommend checking with your doctor.
We explain what a patch test is for, and what makes these services comfortable, in our post on brow lamination and lash lift risks.
Not sure which service suits you? Just send us a message and we will decide together.
Our focus
We plan every session around your brows and lashes, with particular attention to these points:
We agree the shape of your brows with you at the start, based on your features and the natural line of your brows.
We choose products and timings for your hair type, and if your hairs look dry or brittle, we talk it through with you first.
For a lash lift, we choose a pad to suit your lash length and brush each lash into place, aiming for a natural curl.
Brushes and pads that touch the eye area are single-use, and we keep checking how you feel throughout the session.
At the end of your session, we explain the aftercare that suits you and what to keep in mind over the first few days.
