Hair Removal
For smooth-looking skin: a personalised programme of regular sessions for the area you choose, aimed at long-term hair reduction.

At Parla Deniz Aesthetic, laser hair removal is a personalised programme of regular sessions for unwanted hair, carried out at our beauty salon in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. For most people, regular sessions bring a noticeable, long-term reduction in hair. You spend less time shaving, waxing and tweezing and can enjoy the ease of smoother-looking skin. We work on the legs, arms, underarms, bikini line and face, planning your sessions around the area you choose.
There is no rush during a session. You spend time that is yours alone, in a calm room that respects your privacy, with a practitioner who explains each step before we begin. We ask how you are feeling as we go and plan everything with you.
Laser hair removal is for anyone looking for a regular, planned approach to unwanted hair. Guests often choose it when they:
At your first consultation we look together at your hair colour, hair type and skin tone, and decide on that basis whether laser hair removal suits you and how best to plan it.
Every session follows the same careful steps:
Laser hair removal is not a one-off session but a programme made up of regular sessions. Hairs do not all grow at the same time: each one follows its own natural hair growth cycle, which is why sessions are repeated at intervals. As a general guide:
Every laser hair removal programme is planned and carried out to a personalised protocol. At your first consultation we decide together on the length of your sessions, the gap between them and how many you need, based on the area, your hair type and your routine.
Our post on how many laser hair removal sessions you need explains in more detail what decides the number of sessions and the gap between them.
At your first consultation, we give you the timings that suit your own programme for shaving, keeping out of the sun and avoiding heat. Our post on laser hair removal preparation and aftercare explains the reason behind each tip.
If any of the following apply to you, please tell us before booking. Where needed, we may postpone the session or suggest you speak to your doctor first:
This list is a general guide and does not replace advice from your doctor. If you are unsure about anything, we would always rather you asked.
Laser hair removal is planned as a series of sessions spread over time, so it suits guests who live in Istanbul, come here often or are staying for a while. Message us before you come and we will tell you honestly whether a programme can fit around your visits. As sun exposure matters between sessions, it also helps to mention any beach or holiday plans. You are welcome to message us in English.
To plan the sessions that suit you, send us a message. We will be happy to answer any questions.
By area
We plan each area on its own, around its size and your hair type.
As a larger area, the legs take a little longer, so we work over them in small sections, carefully and in turn.
We set the gap between sessions around your hair type and growth cycle, and give the whole arm the same care.
The underarms are a small area, so the session is quick, and it is best to arrive without deodorant on the day.
In a calm setting that respects your privacy, we explain each step before we begin and check on your comfort.
As the face sees the sun, we plan your session dates with you around the season and how you protect the area.
FAQ
Laser hair removal usually feels like gentle warmth or a quick pinch rather than pain. Sensitivity can vary a little from person to person and from one area to another. We check in with you throughout, so just tell us straight away if anything feels uncomfortable.
Laser hair removal is a course of several sessions repeated at set intervals, and we set the number for you based on the area and your hair type. At your first consultation we look at the area together and explain clearly how many sessions we suggest and why. As your programme goes on, we review the plan with you.
With regular sessions, most of the hair in the area is reduced for the long term. Scientific studies of diode lasers report hair reduction of up to 80-90% six months after a course of five sessions, and the hair that does grow back is usually finer and lighter. The figure varies from person to person with hair colour, skin tone, the area and how regularly you attend. We talk through what you can expect at your first visit, once we have looked at your hair and skin.
Laser hair removal can be used on the legs, arms, underarms, bikini line and face. At your first consultation we talk through which areas matter most to you and plan your sessions around them.
Yes, the area needs to be shaved before your session. At your first consultation, we will tell you how long beforehand to shave for your programme. Throughout your programme, please avoid waxing, tweezing or any other method that removes hair from the root.
Yes, you can. Keeping the area out of the sun and away from sunbeds matters throughout your programme, which is why we plan the timing together, especially for areas that see the sun, around the season and any holidays you have coming up. If you have recently been in the sun, please tell us before your appointment.
That depends on your situation and your doctor's advice, so if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please message us before booking and check with your doctor. We will decide together, without any rush, whether laser hair removal is right for you at this time.
